    Best 19 tires replacement

Cool. I do suspect my wh/km will be worse with the Bridgestones, but keep in mind I've got the performance S007As, not the quiettracks (Turanzas) which are more touring. I just think a small reduction in efficiency (many of us old school owners don't ever pay for electricity) is worth making...

Model S 19" - anyone got Continental or Bridgestone tyres?

You enjoy your vehicle. And 'slide' in a Tesla is very limited - we are not talking drifting, we are talking taking a corner fast and having the back step out with a bit of oversteer, and occasionally get the front disconnected too. For between 0.5-1 second.

A vote for Bridgestone here! Most Tesla's in Australia come with the Michelin Primacy 3 so I was nervous to switch away from them after 2 sets since new. Bridgestones are cheaper (3 for 4 deals) but I feared they would be louder and harsher. The opposite! They seem quieter (Primacy's are...

Model S 19" - anyone got Continental or Bridgestone tyres?

Hope you enjoyed the new tyres, whatever you got. Just to add some info: Bridgestone Select (Donnellans) in Balwyn are excellent with Teslas. They know about jackpoints, jack mode, camber changes with suspension heights, how to remove the rear cover to do alignments... I recently had them put...

Renting out Tesla Model S paid for my TCO (free Tesla!)

Yeah can't launch my car though. If I had a P100D then it would attract a very different type of renter.

Renting out Tesla Model S paid for my TCO (free Tesla!)

Hey Bluebay, as per original post, I'll be at 85% (13,600) income vs 16k TCO for the year, but I am hoping it gets to 100%. I am projecting based on confirmed bookings over the next few months, and there is still plenty of weeks/days that my car is available for more bookings. Still, even a...

Renting out Tesla Model S paid for my TCO (free Tesla!)

Mods give the all clear so here we go. Bluebay my insurance is just under 3k. Covers private use and rentals. Other costs are in my opening post, but for me it's 16k TCO per year.

Renting out Tesla Model S paid for my TCO (free Tesla!)

I definitely don't have the capital to develop a commercial building! I think I've stumbled on a great way to get a free or subsidised Tesla, and it means I might actually be able to buy a 2nd or 3rd Tesla. Win.

Renting out Tesla Model S paid for my TCO (free Tesla!)

Hey Meloccom I can assure you I am a real person! And with no links to whatever companies you are having trouble with. I don't get paid or pressured by the company that helps me rent out my 75D to advertise here, and think about it - that makes no sense. It is to my detriment if I encourage...

Renting out Tesla Model S paid for my TCO (free Tesla!)

So I've done 50,000km in 2.5 yrs of ownership. But what I mean is I can track them on the app (which is so unique for rental cars) and see that they are just puttering around Melbourne, like Nunawading to the city. Sometimes they just go from say Camberwell to Port Melbourne for the day. Haven't...

Renting out Tesla Model S paid for my TCO (free Tesla!)

So I'm excited to let other Aussie owners know that our market is ripe for renting out our cars. With only 6 weeks of rental (so 6 weeks I don't have access to my car), I am covering 85% of my total cost of ownership (TCO) for the year! This is incredible considering if I kept my old car (a...

Anyone bought a "raven" Model S in Australia?

That's a good leg. I just can't make it to Oliver's (Gundagai) with a 75D... have to stop in Goulburn. I think it's uphill because on the way back to Sydney I don't need Goulburn. In any case, I did Syd-Mel return TWICE with a faulty autopilot (no autopilot actually) and check this out: no...

Is Tesla trying to become the absolute worst service organization?

Hey Bluestreak, just so you don't feel alone (or crazy), there is definitely a crash in service in Australia. My car started in Sydney where service from St Leonards was always amazing. Loaners, timely information, walk in and talk to a human, all good things. I'm actually now in Melbourne and...

What could be wrong? Both Autopilot and Cruise not working at high speed

Cannot thank you enough @lt1buick. Your attachment of the TSB shortcircuited all of the arguing and got my car fixed pronto! It's a shame that we have to find these fixes ourselves and feed them to the SC to finally fix something (this seems to happen a lot in other threads). For anyone who...
