    S/3 Comparo -- Driven Back-to-Back-to-Back

My kids tell me that the rear seats in our 3 are not anywhere close to the comfort of the rear seats in our S85 or P90D. The acceleration in the 3 is good, but a Model S P100D is a whole different world. I do look forward to seeing what the performance Model 3 feels like. The prototype they...

Supercharger - King of Prussia, PA

Range anxiety is vastly more common among non-owners than owners. Our Model 3 has over 300 miles of range. If you regularly drive 200 miles around town in a single day, you're very much the exception. Unless you are unable to even install a NEMA 14-50 receptacle at your place of residence, I...

We did a drive around the orange garage ground floor on Sunday, and saw no evidence of charger construction.

Superchargers at KoP will be helpful to some locals with long driveways. I prefer not to pay a big gas truck to plow my 500' driveway, but it can be a bit much to manage when we get over a foot of snow. Electric snowblowers have improved, but not enough yet to reliably handle a big job. Also...

I'm really looking forward to being able to skip both Harrisburg (inconvenient detour) and Somerset (pedestrian unfriendly, not a Wendy's fan). Will be much nicer to instead just hit Breezewood when on the PA Turnpike, between Cranberry and the King of Prussia/Valley Forge area.

@jdo: Correct, the future sites are shown with the disclaimer "Exact timing and specific location may vary", and are generally centered on Google's location for the town they are named after, rather than the exact location they hope to use.

So Thanksgiving looks theoretically possible, but certainly not a done deal. I'd love to be able to use this Thanksgiving day.

Has anyone stopped by to see if construction has begun? It's been over 3 weeks since I was in Maryland and checked on my way home...

I stopped there yesterday and didn't see any evidence of construction.

Sorry, wasn't paying attention and screwed up the quoting. Only first line above was supposed to be the quote.

I think Tesla's next redesign should incorporate cast iron sewer pipe for the verticals. And then fill it with concrete after the wire has been run. Next truck to back into one of those puppies will spread the word to be more careful! We could even start putting "kill marks" on the side of...

Actually, I think Putin's behind it. Business Insider had an article today on how Russia will run out of cash by 2018 if oil prices don't recover. That's what happens when you disguise a huge gas station as a superpower state. They're not only trying to influence our elections to promote...

I'll say Thursday! But any time this week will be fine, thank you!
