    Chevrolet Tru 140S

I think this is a very interesting car, especiallyif they incorporate some meaningful electric propulsion. I find it very cool it's supposed to be made on the same Delta II chassis as the Cruze and Volt. I'll be keeping an eye on this one!

    The Model S Name

Codenames are assigned to help prevent hints or details from getting out ahead of an item's launch. Like the GameCube was codenamed "Project Dolphin", I would imagine "Plane" is intended to be less descriptive than, say, Leviathan or Peregrine. I wouldn't say this would apply to Whitestar and...

    The Model S Name

I couldn't agree more. These alphanumeric code "names" sound more like technical description shorthand than a face name. I guess they're supposed to have a "cool sound" to them. *barf*

    The Model S Name

    The Model S Name

So I've done a little research for my odd little question, but I just can't seem to find out where or what the Model S's name came from. It has to have some sort of meaning. As I saw in one member's signature, I like to imagine it is short for Model S(paceship)

Automatic creep makes it impossible to come to a smooth stop

I think creep should be disabled as long as the brake pedal is depressed. It would allow for easy rolling through parking lots and such, while still allowing for smooth complete stops, no unnecissary energy consumption while stopped, and it would ensure the driver holds the brake pedal, keeping...

    Hi from Lafayette, Indiana

Hello all, I'm QB 45, I just registered here yesterday, but I can already tell this forum is going to be an excellent source of information. I'm a huge, huge Volt fan and plan on buying one as soon as funds allow. I've done tons and tons of research on it, and might end up doing the same for my...

Good to see you here, artsci :)

    Model S regen

Hello, this will be my first post here at this forum, but I've had my interest in Tesla and the Model S for some time now. I thought I'd mention how the Volt uses regenerative braking - if you want it to drive like any ICE vehicle, with light regen when you let off the go-pedal, it will...
