I think it might be the rumored HUD for the Model S/X. I feel like an autopilot announcement (maybe full autonomy) deserves a big event with invites sent well in advance to all the big Tesla fans.

It might be full autonomous with a retractable steering wheel. There must be a reason why the steering wheel is so minimal. But on the other hand transforming stuff is hard. Tesla is no stranger to that though...
