Tried to take delivery in Dedham today but the car was not there. The employee helping us explained that they have very limited overflow parking and so a lot of cars end up stuck in Rhode Island. Going to try again tomorrow.

Had this happen to me last week; about 2 days after submitting my financing info, I called the delivery hotline and got scheduled for delivery! Definitely a good sign.

Submitted Tesla financing info last night and heard back about 2 hours later. The finance team was super helpful with some questions I had. Hoping I hear from my DA today with a delivery date or VIN!!

You probably have a pretty good chance of it since you are in CA, but it is a bit of a mixed bag. These days some people get their within weeks of ordering and others have to wait for months. Fingers crossed for you!

Mine went away today, so either it is no longer there for anyone or we have both been assigned a VIN (or some other kind of progress)

Got the following text about 15 minutes ago: Thank you for confirming your availability. We are unable to schedule your delivery this weekend. We sincerely apologize for this, but will reach out as soon your car becomes available. I guess that puts an end to the delivery text saga!

I’ve been on the phone with them twice today and they haven’t been able to help at all :( seems like mileage may vary depending on reservation status and luck!

Just got a second response. It was about 6 hours between me responding and them sending the second text. Really hoping it can happen this weekend!

Scratch that–just got the text! Does seem like it is going to almost everyone, but the way it is worded is interesting; makes it seem like they actually have a car at the delivery center that matches, but that can't be true for everyone. Yep, I just got one too, so it seems like they are still...
