Charging etiquette on the local news

Seems like the law, mall cops and news articles might be jumping to conclusions. Should it matter whether or not the car was actually charging? Just because it was plugged in, doesn't necessarily mean it was charging. If it was charging when the woman disconnected the charging cable, then I...

Model 3 & the Roadster "Special"

According to this article, the range expected range for the Model III is more likely to be about 200 miles and release date is more likely to be 2018. I wouldn't be surprised if the price climbs from the advertised $35,000. Tesla Announces New $35,000, 200-mile range Model III | Energy Digital...

Another Tesla Crash. This time into the delivery sign.

The "talent" is not so "special". Hardly a month goes by, that I don't see a news report of someone that crashed their car into a store or house; hitting the wrong pedal, being in the wrong gear, etc. The only thing special about this story, is that it involves a Tesla. ;)

Car and driver have Munchhausen syndrome. ;) The controls and awesome acceleration can be hard for a newbie to handle.

First Tesla Model S crash in China

Lost it allegedly doing a high-speed U-turn? Seems like a lot of Tesla drivers, drive like it is a videogame. In real life there is serious and real consequences.

Will the lack of temperature regulation hurt the battery if it's not being driven?

Speculation & opinion: I would suspect that they would disconnect the traction battery and the 12 V accessory battery for safety and to protect the batteries. If the batteries are disconnected it should eliminate most of the parasitic drain. A disconnected battery should be able to last several...

Problem with electrical panel and charging tonight

Sounds like you're confusing fuses and circuit breakers. Sounds like your knowledge of electricity is minimal, sounds like you're probably not the type of person that should be trying to diagnose and repair this kind of problem. I would recommend leaving circuit breakers in the off position, not...

    Braking in rain

What service bulletin? Have a link? I've searched for a service bulletin on this issue and can't find one. I thought service bulletins of this nature had to be listed with NHTSA. Does Tesla keep some of the service bulletins silent/secret? I thought service bulletin disclosure was required.
