My MCU (Infotainment) upgrade is done today and I also confirm that it included AP3. I don't have FSD.

Tesla customer service came back saying Tesla stripped the features and the dealer should have mentioned the features to me clearly. I have clearly told them the car has enhanced auto pilot when I have checked the car and also used the features 1 month after my official purchase of the Model X...

I see Tesla is offering FSD for all 2017 used X Models and IMO paying a little bit extra for 2017 model makes sense than 2016 since they are also going almost at the same price range. It is hard to tell for the specific one you are referring without knowing the price, miles and other cosmetic...

I totally agree and there should be a transparent info with VIN. I tried to get this info before the purchase but was told all features will be listed on the touchscreen details screen and they can provide info on phone only to the owners :)

They must provide a license key or something to stop this fraud in my opinion like the software licenses.

Tesla sold this X to the dealer close to may be 6 months ago and I have verified the same after I bought the X 2 months ago. These software features cannot be trusted and can be removed without notice looks like. As I have mentioned the original invoice has the feature with $5K charged.

I got an email yesterday related to something slightly different "Your Tesla Model S/X is now eligible to receive a no charge hardware update to the Autopilot control module via a visit from a mobile technician". I'm assuming this one is for only if you have FSD.
