Increasingly Frustrated with Oregon Supercharger Situation

yea, doable, though that direction is with the wind much of the time. it's tough. one of the reasons to want a 2021 LR

Increasingly Frustrated with Oregon Supercharger Situation

yea, 325 is high, but I've seen it in a 3 going into a headwind down the gorge, from Umatilla to The Dalles, pretty much the whole way. Very tough at that point.

    Supercharger - Northwest - Kalispell

getting to whitefish isn't so bad at all. turning it around in less than 8 hours is a bit more of an issue. It's a little annoying but the one in superior is pretty close to st regis, and that's a nice route. the Missoula one is next to a solid pizza place, but I think it's a little farther out.

Agreed. While nice, I tend to do my stops with meals and schedule longer breaks. the gain is marginal for me. Agreed. I leave with that much most of the time. I do use Cle Elum, though, because it's far away for me when I go to Seattle :) yes, Bend itself is good. Coming from the north on the...

    Supercharger - Yakima, WA

TC to yakima to portland would add an extra hour and a half :) at that rate, there are 14-50s and j1772 that would top off enough for the rest of the trip I wager. still, i eagerly await hood river and boardman.

mine as well. it is not much different than hood river to the dalles in distance, serves two major routes, has services. However, all of those are really truck stops, and I imagine somewhat limited in land space.

Increasingly Frustrated with Oregon Supercharger Situation

Mine has always been about The Dalles. It's the one that is the most fragile in the area. It's one of the oldest, it's one of the smallest, and it is very busy on many weekends. Hood River, while interesting and a popular place for my family to stop pre-tesla, doesn't actually make as much sense...

    Supercharger - The Dalles, OR

anyone know if The Dalles is fully back online? Looking at vacation in 1.5 weeks and it will impact my route quite heavily.

    Supercharger - The Dalles, OR

Myrtle Creek is supposed to be open Q1, but who knows.

    Supercharger - The Dalles, OR

yea, the boardman/hood river link would make this a lot better. edit: there are a few other options there. none particularly fast, but there are half a dozen j1772 options, and a 14-50 option up in a park (though maybe padlocked). the free PUD one is 48A, so that might be a good choice.
