Yes that's the one. In terms of 24 hr amenities and available parking space this would be the best, unless there are significant changes when they build the bypass.

This is usually a pretty busy carpark at the best of times, I suspect this is more to do with improving capacity. My money is still on the Highway service centre further south on the highway but still in town.

This sort of problem is usually a routing/DNS issue from the IP address that Telstra assigned you to a given server/s. You can confirm it through ping testing. Provided you're not using a static IP then restarting the modem will eventually fix it when you get assigned a different IP address...

Perhaps she's seen Mad Max a few too many times? Given the short lifespan of fuel sitting in a tank versus your average off-grid home I would have thought this was a no-brainer.

The only planned Superchargers north of Brisbane was at (roughly) Gympie, that has since been removed. Fingers crossed for further growth North next year!

As we've seen before it's likely to be the one with the most co-operative council. So it could be any of the proposed ones next, least likely being Brisbane as I'd suspect that one would be post store opening.

I'd like to second that! As someone who has done the great drive north many times both up the Pacific and the New England highways I can certainly see the benefits gained by doing this. Future inland rollouts to places like Scone and Tamworth would work well with this.

Yeah, from other things I've seen/heard (reddit) the biggest hurdle in SC rollout is council approvals. This is probably what we're seeing here, Tesla probably had the least resistance here so things happened faster here. Mainly I'm happy things have started happening and it's still only January!

I couldn't agree more. Discussions in previous threads have nominated the Nudgee Rd Shell Service Centre, DFO's near the Airport and Eight Mile Plains near the Gateway/Pacific interchange. Each have merits but yeah, I don't see it happening with the initial rollout sadly. - - - Updated - - -...
