    [MD] 18x8.5" Flow One F1 Wheels (5x114.3 +30) w/ Falken RT660 tires

Went out and measured the remaining tread and they had a bit more than I thought lol. All four tires were around the same tread depth (just over 4 mm.)

    [MD] 18x8.5" Flow One F1 Wheels (5x114.3 +30) w/ Falken RT660 tires

Hey all, Selling a set of wheels I used on my 2021 Tesla M3 Performance. I originally picked these up to use solely as winter wheels, but also used them for one season of autocross (only attended a handful of events.) I'm probably not going to attend any events this year and wanted to clear them...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

This is what someone shared on FB. I was trying to find something on Summit's website but maybe its a bit new.

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

Has anyone come across tracks banning EV and hybrid vehicles? I'm over in the DC region, and saw something about Summit Point (on FB so not sure if true lol) no longer allowing EV and hybrid vehicles. Last year, I believe the DC SCCA chapter mostly ran at Summit Point and FedEx Field...

What's your next EV after Tesla?

When I was shopping for an EV in 2021, the Supercharger network weighed heavily in my decision to get a M3P. In reality, after nearly two years of ownership, I've only needed to charge outside of my own home a handful of times. At this point, given my driving habits, I think I could completely...

What did you sell/trade for your 3?

Hopefully by the time it comes out, a cheaper version exists. I think the Polestar 6 concept is gorgeous (but also likely way out of my price range. Lol)

What did you sell/trade for your 3?

Before my M3P, I had a M2 and a ND Miata. I enjoy my M3P, but I really miss driving the Miata (even moreso than the M2.) Most of my yearly miles come from just cruising around on scenic backroads (I find it relaxing as I mostly work from home.) With the exception of sitting in traffic, the Miata...

Is Tesla Y better than other all electric SUVs?

Third row seating means it’s likely a MPV (same category as vans; eligible for the higher $80k msrp limit.) I reallllllllllly like the Polestar 3. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous.

    More price drops coming?

I think prices are going lower. Prior to the latest price drop, I believe Tesla reported a gross auto margin rate of 28%. At the start of 2021, their gross auto margin was close to this as well (back when the LR Y was $50K - lower than the current price with pandemic-related supply...

IRS weighs in on tax rebate, mostly bad news for Model Y

This is really excellence news. Now I’m really curious if we’ll see more downward pressure on prices for other EVs? The price of the Mach E has to be considered nuts now, but I’m also curious if the ID4 will drop considerably.

IRS weighs in on tax rebate, mostly bad news for Model Y

I would be surprised if the US didn’t eventually levy tariffs on these components and resources (similar to what we already do for steel, trucks, etc etc.)

IRS weighs in on tax rebate, mostly bad news for Model Y

Of course there is similarity. People shopping for vehicles will buy what they can afford...today. Whether cheaper BEVs are next year, three years, or ten years away is inconsequential to folks that need a car today. This is also completely ignoring the challenges of lacking L2 charging at home...

For those who have taken their Tesla to a track day, let me (and the community) know what kind of range you got!

On a hot autocross test-and-tune or school day, I can average out around 1800 Wh/mi for my 21 M3P on 200TW tires. Always fascinating to see my projected range drop so hard. I stop for the day when I hit around 10 miles. :)
