This could be what is happening in my case. On one hand the payment processor said a check has been issued, but I've received nothing. On the other hand, my CC company still clearly shows the charge as not refunded, and no check has arrived in the mail. So, the payment company probably has not...

I agree, this is definitely very much needed. If we don't have a robust recycling program that keeps older EVs on the road and repurposes their spent batteries, then there's almost no point to this whole EVs for the environment thing. Unfortunately in my case I have to move to another continent...

Wow 250? On 21" wheels this would be nearly impossible for me at highway speed (not in town, which is easy because it's slower). I suppose I should try it - check 60mph on flat ground. I've got a 100 mile trip coming up that I usually do at 70 that I could try at lower speed.
