    Refresh S, Passenger Screen

Since this post was created, Munro did a full teardown of the instrument panel, and there is no screen back there.

    2022 S - Chime while driving + top-down hud?

By HUD I mean the screen behind the yoke. By top-down I’m referring to the car orientation on the HUD. Most of the time it's the car from behind. In theater mode, it's the car from the side. But after the chime, it is the car from the top.

    2022 S - Chime while driving + top-down hud?

Hey I can't figure out what this feature is from the manual. When driving slow (lets say 20kmh / 15mph), sometimes the car makes a chime (as if park or reverse gear has been selected), and the HUD changes from behind-the-car view to top-down-view. What is so important here that it is chiming?

Why is Drag Strip Mode often slower than Plaid mode?

Is anyone else on a 2022 Plaid S running into this issue? I've recently discovered the wonderful launch mode that gets enabled with Drag Strip Mode. If I'm at a light and feeling stupid, I will go into the menu and quickly toggle on Drag Strip Mode, smash both pedals down and some random time...

2022.12.3.1 - Strange new Autopilot behavior

Hi, This is about Autopilot, not FSD. The car is a 2022 Model S Plaid. Before 2022.12.3.1, if I turned on my turn signal, Autopilot will disable as soon as any wheel input was given (without providing resistance). After 2022.12.3.1, if I turned on my turn signal, Autopilot disables as soon as...

2021+ Model S and Model S Plaid Refresh Issues Thread

I think it is a software issue as well. At 6 pm, I didn't have this issue. I accepted Software Update to the Plaid track mode. By 8 pm, I was back in the car playing with the track mode stuff and immediately noticed the buzzing sound. It was loud enough that I am confident there is no way I...

    New (2022) model S - missing covers?

Mine came included, but there are lots of reports of them being sent after delivery. Open a service request via the app and they will mail them to your door. They click in by magnets so it's easy to install. I'm mostly surprised your service advisor didn't inform you of this during the delivery...

2021+ Model S and Model S Plaid Refresh Issues Thread

From asking my service rep about this: The dove sound is expected. It's part of the climate system that regulates cabin humidity. Nothing to fix. Enjoy the dove. I'm at 800km and have: 1. Yoke buzzing over turn signals. Turn off your audio and climate, and put your ear against it. Service is...

    21 model S heater noise

Sounds like a mechanical issue with the octovalve pump. I would raise a service issue for sure.

21 inch turbine wheel crack survey

It looks like the pothole straight-up deformed your rubber far enough to impact the rim. That's one hell of a small pothole.

S LR / Plaid tinted roof makes it useless

Does anyone else find that the glass roof is tinted so dark that it might as well be a body panel? I sat in the back of my Plaid for the first time while the wife drove myself and the kids around and... I struggle to understand the purpose of it. You can't see anything out of it and it's...

    2021 Refreshed Model S w/ 21" tires - suspension issue?

22 S Plaid /w 20" winter tires. Setting the toggle to comfort mode makes it ride like a Cadillac. Floaty with some body roll, but super soft. Day-and-night difference between "Auto/Sport" mode.
