Well after five years of waiting for Calabasas Commons to push this SuperCharger through, maybe finally it will happen. I wonder if the owner builder of Calabasas Commons, Los Angeles Mayor candidate Rick Caruso, can shed some light on what happened. Anything to do with car dealerships ownership?

Looks like Tesla is moving forward as the chainlink fence around the Tesla property has come down at 14th and Santa Monica Blvd and two 18 wheeler flatbeds with temporary urban chargers are sitting in the middle of the property.

Temporary SuperChargers showed up in Santa Monica at 14th street & Santa Monica Blvd. The chainlink fence is all down. Hope they are starting to build the Tesla 50’s dinner.

Just happened to see this new Long Range Model S in Sherman Oaks, a few hours ago. Is this the first one in SoCal?

That’s interesting, Calabasas still a dead zone for EV chargers. The only charger on PlugShare map is rated 1 out of 10 at Bob Smith BMW. I love charging at Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks. Always open stalls, reliable equipment rated 10 out of 10

I looked on PlugShare and there is not one EV Charger in the city of Calabasas. There are many large upscale auto dealers. Are they able to block Tesla getting through city planning?
