    Tesla VS Taycan

The price argment reminds me of Corvette vs 911 discussions. The taycan is made in Zuffenhausen, Porsche's major factory. The workers there are highly paid. There is a lot of craftmanship going into these cars, just look at the options list. You can specify every taycan to your personal wish...

Porsche Taycan Vs Tesla Model S: Review, Road Test, Race, Charging

The Taycan Turbo S has actually done low 10s in internal Porsche testing.

    Taycan Takedown

I did own both a Model S and a Model 3 and I could argue that both are totally overpriced. Why? Quality. Look at the taycan in detail and the number of options you can choose. This is something entirely different and it is not gonna change through some software updates. All this fancy youtube...

    Taycan Takedown

Guys, look at the trap speeds. The Taycan is at 131mph, that‘s at least 5mph faster than any P100D I have seen to date. Therefore the Taycan Turbo S should pull several car lengths at higher speeds. Of course the Taycan will do that all over again instead of the preheated one trick pony Model...

    Porsche Taycan vs Model S

Looking forward to more videos. I think the taycan turbo s will do sub 10s in the quarter. As ever, Porsche performance numbers are super conservative.

Model S to the Nürburgring Next Week!

Where did you read that it’s bridge to gantry and not a full lap?

Model S to the Nürburgring Next Week!

I think you will see big improvements on future Tesla chassis setups if they continue to test on the Ring. It‘s not about a big balls contest. The Ring is unique. Every part of the car and the driver is tested to the max. In the end, a car which behaves well at the Nordschleife is better on...

Model S to the Nürburgring Next Week!

Yes it is, Speed seems to be pretty similar.

Model S to the Nürburgring Next Week!

The Laguna Seca laptime of the Model S Plaid is about 1s faster than a Cayman GT4 which laps the Ring in 7:40. Indeed there is a very real chance of beating the Taycan's 7:42 with this prototype, which has obviously not a lot in common with the current Model S on sale. It will be interesting to...

Model S to the Nürburgring Next Week!

Well yes downforce is important on the Nordschleife, front and rear. If you add downforce only at the rear you will notice understeer through Flugplatz, Schwedenkreuz, Kesselchen, Klostertal, etc.....you name it. Furthermore, diffusors are not really working that well because the track is too...

Model S to the Nürburgring Next Week!

That lap was done by the german magazine Sport Auto on standard tires. You cannot compare Laguna to the Ring. The main straight Döttinger Höhe is 2.6km long and it‘s uphill right to the Antoniusbuche corner. You reach 300kph in a powerful car there and you can go flat out through the corner...

Model S to the Nürburgring Next Week!

This is not exactly true. The Cup2R tire is very different to the standard Cup2. Honestly, putting the Model S on the Nurburgring is ridiculous. Everyone knows that it's a poor track car far worse than the Model 3. At least obviously Porsche had success in getting Musk and his fanboys attention.

Model S to the Nürburgring Next Week!

I know, They will have to modify everything just to make a single lap.

Model S to the Nürburgring Next Week!

Haha, very funny. The modified Model S seems to wear Michelin Cup 2 R tires. This is a super sticky compound. It has nothing to do with the stock car. This is the most pathetic Nürburgring attempt I have ever seen.

Model S to the Nürburgring Next Week!

The Ring is different to other circuits. You just can‘t go there and set a record out of the box. Porsche does hundreds and hundreds of laps before making that final attempt. Everything has to be perfect, driver, car, conditions. If you have never been to this track before you have no idea how...
