It's here. 1hr 40m to install. Have to wait till the weekend, assuming that is possible, to apply the update though. Tried to find release notes on Tesla website but no go. Anyone applied the update? What did you find the best and worst part of the update?

Picked up my 70d a few days ago. Got a mug, lapel pin and an umbrella. The best part, apart from the car, were the silicone key cases that fit the key fob instead of the old pouch.

SBarnes - thank you Just spoke to tech support and it could be me not remembering the right milage. I am convinced it was 290m for a 70D but the website now says that is the range for a 90D. 240m is probably right. 3 months of waiting for the car have resulted in a bit of loss of memory!

We picked up our Model S 70D yesterday :):):) - finally. The car wasn't fully charged but we had a long drive planned, so put the car up on a super charger. Two things happened that were a bit surprising: 1) Max mileage: We changed the charge percentage to 100% so it would charge all the way...

Completely agree with TexasEV. I took the plunge 3 months ago and plan on revisiting where tesla/industry is in a few years. Til the. Enjoy today. Tesla will keep coming out with new features. There is no timeline to it, like new iPhones in September, so not worth waiting. Get one an just start...

Dan43: has your my tesla gone from a vague window to firm dates? My 'My Tesla' still says late August-early September. The status is not very helpful. Out of the entire process, 2-3 states in first 3 weeks and then 'in transit from factory' for 10 weeks!

Dan43: who is your DS? It's a constant negotiation with my DS, Jo, at Heathrow to get an earlier date. Currently tentatively booked in for 7 Sep but told that they can confirm only by the 5th. Another DS, some bloke whose name I didn't ask, told me that it is 3 weeks from dispatch to delivery...

Damcuz: our car is probably in the same boat as Dan43's from Tilburg to UK. Dan43: spoke to DeS today. Managed to 'negotiate' from week if 12 Sep to Week of 5 Sep! The countdown begins.....

Dan43: When did you get a call from your delivery specialist? I got a call yesterday and was told minimum 3 weeks, so earliest possible is 14 Sep. For us that will probably mean pushing delivery out to end of Sep :-(
