Hope third time’s the charm for you! My second delivery went very well, and the car is absolutely awesome. What were the issues with the first two?

It was a much better experience this time around. Car was in great shape (one minor suction cup mark they were able to buff out), but otherwise perfect. So relieved and loving the car!

Second delivery was such a better experience! Car was in great shape. Had one minor issue with one of the suction cup marks from assembly, but they were able to buff it out. Everything else a was in great shape. I do have the auto dimming mirrors but black interior FWIW.

Thanks! Really happy it worked out well for you and that you’re loving your car. It looks fantastic! The service manager called me on Friday to update me and again today. Said the car has passed inspection and it’s in good shape. I’m hopeful but a bit nervous this time around.

Second delivery scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

FWIW my second delivery estimate was updated this morning from September 15-18 (no new VIN or any contact from Tesla). Now it says September 19-25.

Eh not really how it was handled. They apologized and were understanding. I’ve since heard from the operations manager at the service center. Believe me - this is definitely not how I envisioned my day going, and I’m disappointed that I was even presented the car with these issues, but I’m...

Just said they’ll keep an eye out to match with a new VIN. No timeframe given and that’s fine. I have no issue waiting so long as the car I receive is in acceptable condition.
