1st road trip on new M3P. Any advice?

Let the car do the planning. Call ahead to hotels and see if they have EV charging available. It's annoying to constantly be planning your charging, but Tesla make it the easiest.

    APP w182, 185, 186 fault codes

Ya. I'm out of warranty unfortunetly. So it's definitely out of my own pocket, which is no biggie. I enjoy wrenching on cars. And this car is pretty easy to take apart. Can't find much info on these fault codes however. Why I posted here. Hoping someone can chime in with some insight. I use to...

M3P - Who switched from a (true) sports car?

The performance is a one trick pony. Brutal 0-60 punch. That's it. You need to invest in some coilovers and brakes to even out the package imo.

    APP w182, 185, 186 fault codes

Hey guys, (21 m3P w 55k)my cameras (B pillars and front windshield) stopped working today. Pulled these codes. Stopped in at my local service center on way to work. Basically told to make service appt and they'll replace my ecu under dash. Which is fine. But has anyone successfully ordered and...

    Model 3 Performance Spacers

Didn't mean to insinuate anything, no worries and sorry you may have taken it that way. All good., Here for solutions. My 21 is a Dec. 2020 build, I have slight rotor movement on all 4 corners without the retaining bolt. Once the retaining bolt is in, no movement. I've taken a video to show but...

    Model 3 Performance Spacers

Blox sport 15/20. Everything is sitting flush. Spacers torqued down to 140, wheels torqued to 130#s. I understand how it should work, lol. I've run spacers in the past. Just not sure what's goin on here.

    Model 3 Performance Spacers

Hey guys. I'm fi ally getting around to install a set of spacers. Stock 21 3 performance. What are you guys doing with rotor .movement when you remove the 10mm bolt. I hear the rotor moving everytime I hit a bump. And I know it's the rotor. As I've reinstalled the wheels with the bolt and noise...

M3P: I'm done with the stock Pirellis. Where next?

Never had alignment issues or uneven wear on any car. They just wear out evenly across the tread. My previous cars have been in the 6-700hp range. Both AWD and RWD. I'm just heavy on the pedal from stops. And when I say "shot" I'm not wearing them down to slicks. Once I get to wear bars, I toss...

M3P: I'm done with the stock Pirellis. Where next?

No, not tracking, just hard spirited miles. My wh/mi is about 390 life time. Don't get me wrong. There both great tires and perform better than the average, I just prefer the pirellis over the Michelin's. And going through a set of summers every year has been the norm for me on any of my cars...

Tesla sales rep said MY with 4680 will NOT have longer range

I'm currently a 21 m3P owner. I'm definitely waiting for the 4680 equipped performance Y. Imo, the biggest advantage at the time of release will the ability to provide a greater range in cold northern climates. As it sits right, in winter months, there have been times I can only get 120-130...

    2022 Model 3 Performance vs 2021 Model Y LR from a roll

My 21p is dead consistent with 117mph traps.

M3P: I'm done with the stock Pirellis. Where next?

I blew through a set of pirellis in 7k and a ps4s are near shot at 5k. You wanted a performance vehicle didn't you? Lol

Did Tesla mention why they changed from Michelin Ps4's to Pzeros on model 3 Performance?

I have 2 sets of summer tires. The OEM Pirelli's on Ubers and ps4s on 20" fast fc04s. Last summer I switched back and forth between the two multiple times. And time and time again, I felt the Pirelli's were the superior tire in both wet, dry cornering and grip. I know it goes against what...

Is it ok that Tesla used a 19 inch spare tire?

As long as the outside tire diameter are the same... Givr
