(Source - this forum) Model S Glitches, Quirks, and Peccadilloes

It seems odd to me that Noland would use direct quotes and not attribute them to their authors. I suppose it's possible he did contact them? At least he became informed about the subject, and didn't just write an ignorant error-filled hit piece like so many others have.

Elon Musk to speak at computer history museum tonight

An inspiring story, though it's sad there are so few entrepreneurs like him, I was struck by how many times he decided to lead a company simply because no one else wanted to create what he wanted. Some funny moments too, I posted a few of his comments on my blog.

Has Tesla Solved the Road Trip Problem?

The article's author makes an interesting point about the SuperCharger stations, in one of his comments to his article:

    Tesla at Detroit 2013 NAIAS

This reminded me of a great article concerning Apple's knowledge/technology transfer to Samsung I read last month, the story of Dell and Asus is told as a cautionary tale. Longish but well worth reading: The real threat that Samsung poses to Apple | asymco

    Q&A with G. Blankenship : Mobile app + Superchargers in Canada + Q4 Sales

I believe that is the low end number. Great news, I guess asking over and over does work! :) What was your impression of the Model X in person? It's not getting much love on the forums, at least compared to the raves for the Model S, but that's just looking at the photos; it's always different...

    Karma -vs- Model S

That's got my vote. A friend of mine tests tires for a living and he often talks about how a small difference in the tires will change the skidpad numbers dramatically. I got to ride with him on one test, quite a thrill, I can't believe he gets paid to have that much fun!

    Model X - 2013 Detroit Auto Show

Nice to see the Model X but I'm still holding out for the "experimental concept," guess we'll know for sure tomorrow.

    18650 Batteries

I was surprised Tesla uses standard batteries, I can imagine 7000 cases adds weight and complexity, though I don't know much about Li-ion battery technology. I'm sure they had good reasons to go with standard batteries at first, but maybe they'll transition to larger cells in the future?
