Where does speedo speed come from?

It seems that ABS needs to have speed sensors on each wheel so that it can tell if one of them has "locked up" by having zero speed when the other three are still moving. The speed display is probably an average of the four wheel speed sensors. GPS would be very hard to use for accurate car...

Where does speedo speed come from?

Interesting update here... since I got new tires I've been tracking the tread wear on each tire individually with a tire tread depth gauge. I've had this new set for 14,400 miles now and I'm getting a warning from my model 3 saying that the rear tire tread depth is low. The average rear tread...

    V11 updated FSD wiper fix?

No, it did not. So frustrating- makes FSD unusable unless it’s raining. Each new update makes the experience worse. The wipers run constantly, the car is always changing into the left lane, either to “follow the route “ even though the next turn is to the right and only a mile away, or to “stay...

    How to stop wipers

The problem seems to be that when using Autopilot the wipers go to AUTO and you cannot set them to manual. In other words, on bright, clear, sunny days when the wipers are frantically racing back and forth, scratching your windshield, you cannot use autopilot. Tesla, please fix.

Settings Reset After 2022.44.25.5 Update - Unenrolled from FSD Beta?

This finally worked for me too! I had lost FSD after the latest update but reinstalling via the Service Mode AND rebooting brought FSD back. Thanks TMC forum!

    FSD Beta v11.x

This is also annoying- with the latest FSD “upgrade” it now needs me to confirm traffic lights! The previous version did not do this. I can’t find a setting for this. This stinks- did they intentionally remove this ability??? What a step backwards. Please advise!

    OK. Thanks!

    FSD Beta v11.x

I’m confused about the version numbering convention and what version I actually have. My app says I have 2022.44.30.10. In the car, when I installed this version, it said ”Software Version 11.0”. So I thought I have version 11 but it also looks like this is 10.69.25.2, which seems to me to be a...

    Moving out of right lane

I find this behavior new and incredibly annoying to the point of not being able to use autopilot on the highway. This is new with 2022.36.20 for me. It frickin' wants to get in the left lane (for no reason) and stay there. I live in Atlanta and this will get you killed. If their thinking is that...

M3 hesitates on left turns. Not on autopilot!

Interesting thought. I’ll try to replicate the problem with starting from a stop with the wheel turned sharply. Thanks!

M3 hesitates on left turns. Not on autopilot!

I started noticing it a few months ago. (2018 model with 60K miles). I wonder if an update changed the behavior.

M3 hesitates on left turns. Not on autopilot!

Thank you, gcardona. I turned off OAA and still have this frustrating problem. However, I appreciate your response.

M3 hesitates on left turns. Not on autopilot!

On some left turns my car hesitates for 2-3 seconds when I push the accelerator. it's weird. (this is NOT on autopilot). The white "power bar" indicates current flowing through the motor but the car just coasts for a few seconds and then goes. Very disturbing when I'm turning left across traffic...
