Does anyone have any experience with a wheel band (or rim protector) installed on a wheel that has been ceramic coated? the disclaimer states that the manufacturer does not recommend installing wheel band of a ceramic coated wheel because the 3M adhesive tape *may* not adhere correctly. I am...

    2019.40.2.3 for AP1 cars

    2019.40.2.3 for AP1 cars

That would be awesome because I have gen1 model S (60kWh) and my supercharging peaks at 50kW so if I get to a supercharger with less than 5 percent I have to charge for 1 hour and ten minutes to get to 95% and currently with battery degradation (2013 model S) my Max range is at 180, so I need to...

    2019.40.2.3 for AP1 cars

I hope this means that cars with older batteries will show more accurate range. I think this is needed especially as gen 1 cars start to get up in age, it's good that Tesla is thinking about how to better track their battery life.

    Battery Degradation Scientifically Explained

Well the research seemed to suggest to get it as low as possible... But I will try 60-10 I guess... My current battery health is at about 87% so I've lost about 13% capacity as the car aged 6 years. I bought it used from Tesla direct about 10 months ago so I've been trying to baby the battery...

    Battery Degradation Scientifically Explained

So if we drive a model S... Am I to understand then the best practice is to charge to 60 percent... And drain to as close to 0 as safely possible (say 5%) before recharging back up to 60 percent? Any idea if that would also help undo any degradation that's happened after 6 years of charging to...
