    EV.Energy issues since clocks changed

So for the last 2 nights my ev.energy app would only start at 1.30am and wanted to run to 5.30am. I set my car ready time to 4.30am so it wouldn’t overrun and charge me 1 hour at the higher rate on Go. Today I’ve plugged in ans set the app and it now says charging will start at 12.30am. Maybe...

    EV.Energy issues since clocks changed

Waiting to see what happens tonight. First charge since clocks changed and it says charging from 2.30am. That might be because I only need 21% to get to 90% for tomorrow’s journey. Will report back tomorrow. Edit - changed my car ready time to 4.30am and it now says charging from 1.30am.

    Important Sentry Mode Caution

Mine parked in garage too, mind you it’s a double garage with a single door. Weird but means I can get out! As it’s in the garage I don’t bother with sentry, locked door seems secure enough to me.

What do you miss about your previous car?

Changed my Zoe ZE40 for M3SR+ in March. only thing I miss is the speed limiter function. Was really good at keeping to speed limits in urban areas. TACC just doesn’t work for me in those settings.

Is anyone completely happy with their M3?

Yes totally happy after moving from my Renault Zoe. Still an EV but a whole new experience. Hope to move to Model Y eventually as that will also tow our caravan.

Anyone else pondering Model 3 to Y when it lands in UK?

The 3 can’t legally tow that weight (1000kg) but I understand the Y can (at least 1500kg). It’s not about capability but what it’s rated to tow.

Anyone else pondering Model 3 to Y when it lands in UK?

Will be thinking about it. We currently have two cars - my M3 and wife’s Dacia Duster. We need the Duster to tow our 1200kg caravan. Would look at swapping both for MY ax I understand it could tow the caravan.

    Dilemma: Petrol Station Etiquette

I know you said that electric mowers you've tested aren't up to scratch but I'm very happy with my Gtech one with a rechargeable battery. I have quite a large sloping lawn, approx 10m x 4m, + a few smaller bits. Usually only takes 1/2 battery, although I bought mine with a deal with 2 batteries...

    Corona Kibosh

Yep in the same boat. Due to go 5th September for two weeks to a gîte in the Dordogne. Tunnel crossing booked a month ago, cards and apps sorted, my tag arrived last week and charging cables ordered! Can’t take the risk of the quarantine still being in force when we get back as would need...

Cycle rack for M3 with no tow hitch

There’s always the possibility of an inventory car popping up with a tow hitch so you could change by speaking to Tesla. The week before my car arrived in March quite a few appeared with tow hitch.

    Model 3 - Neighbour(s) reactions - Stories

Two of my neighbours have had a few ogles since Marvin arrived in March. Once this social distancing is over their both up for a ride - maybe a couple of their teenagers too. It’s certainly opened up lots of EV conversations.
