took delivery of my p3d on wednesday... its a great car. stupid fast. love the screen, the roof, and parked at an ev spot in a parking lot for the first time in my life. Id say its worth the wait, but delivery hell still sucked.

@FrankieG ya ive been calling them everyday for a week because my IDA just replies to my emails with “were just trying to make it perfect” without giving me any details. but MDR added notes for priority and went and found me a vin. @CTinCA Good luck dude! Its been a long couple weeks for us lol

I called MDR and they said “hold on let me match you with a VIN right now”... 20 mins later, got a new delivery date for the 29th. Alexander there was wayyyy more helpful than my IDA ever was. The car has already passed inspection (P3D 18” black on black) so there shouldnt be any issues. Is it...

So I just called MDR since my IDA never got back to me. Apparently, my second car failed inspection and they're trying to find one that matches (probably one that also failed inspection, but got fixed). I really don't think it's their fault that fremont screwed up sending a giant batch of bunk...

Good Luck @CTinCA! Mine just emailed me back saying he's having someone look at it now. I told him about a road trip I had planned for Saturday, and seeing if I can pick it up before then.

Thats the same IDA as me. The same one who asked me “You havent taken your delivery yet?” in July, when he never called me or told me I had a VIN...

I spoke with MDR today and I’m OK knowing its just awaiting inspection. My IDA told me I needed a new car, and didnt hear much else, so im glad to hear he’s wrong again (he usually is). Should just be within a week or so.

damn good luck @CTinCA . i think my car may be in the same batch. ive been prodding and asked to be escalated but to no avail.

Yesterday my IDA told me that I would just get a new car since the initial p3d failed inspection. When I asked if I’m in the back of the line or something, he said no. when my car gets serviced, I definitely have priority. I am beginning to think the dude doesn’t know what he’s talking about...

Good luck @CTinCA and @rich89!! Apparently they need a whole new car for me. They didnt say anything other than it wasnt tesla perfect . Theyre still trying to find me a car... This is gonna be a while.

dude im hopin, but the address typo was on my MVPA and no one contacted me today, so i doubt it. im pretty sure they gotta rewrite my contract since its gone now. either way, i’m hopin it goes real smoothly for ya!

That would be cool. I haven’t gotten a new VIN yet and an address typo came back on my account, so I’m not feeling overly optimistic. But I’m getting a black p3d with FSD and 18” wheels. Ive been postponing long drives I had planned lol.
