P85 19" wheel width and max tire width?

FLYVMO, thanks, your links are very informative. Looks like I know what I'll be asking for Christmas =) Assuming I get wider wheels, what's the widest tire I can fit in the wheel well without hitting the control arm or rubbing?

P85 19" wheel width and max tire width?

Just did a little research. I currently have Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires. I like them and want to stick to them. Hankook's website shows available tire sizes I'm interested in for my rears: 255/45/19 (what I currently have) 265/35/19 (side walls too thin and small / rougher ride / more...

P85 19" wheel width and max tire width?

Anyone know how wide the wheels are on a 2013 P85 19" stock wheel? What is the widest tire I can install for the rears? I currently have 255/45 tires which fit, but I'm considering putting some 265/45 tires on the rear for better traction. Still getting some slip with max acceleration from full...

    Are Pilot Sport 3's directional?

Can't find this on google or on our forums, but are the Michelin Pilot Sport 3's unidirectional? I want to know if I can cross rotate them, or only front to back. Thanks

    Coil springs vs air suspension

If anything, I find the coils still on the slightly soft side. Would be nice if they can be slightly stiffer. Car still rolls too much when cornering a tight turn at high speeds......

    Michelin Pilot Sport 3

Bump. So it's been a month since I had the PS3's installed. They are still awesome. Couple things I've noticed. Definitely better than the Primacy touring tires. Much better traction, but still get the squeak when I put the pedal to the metal. However hugs the road tightly. However have seen a...

    Michelin Pilot Sport 3

Good to hear another view point Hiroshi. I just installed the PS3s so that's just my initial impression. Also, I'm comparing them to all season MXM4s, so perception wise, they are a lot better. However, my brother has Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2s on his ride, which I drive from time to time. So...

    Michelin Pilot Sport 3

Also, the MXM4s were decently quiet when they were new, but transmitted road noise a bit more during the 2nd half of tread wear. The new PS3s are definitely more quiet than the MXM4s when new. We'll have to see how they sound after I wear them down a bit.

    Michelin Pilot Sport 3

Wore the original MXM4s down to the wear bar just shy of 28k miles. Thanks to this thread, installed a set of Pilot Sport 3s. WOW! Just Wow! What a difference. When I used to bank a freeway exchange curve at 75-80 mph, my rear would fish tail a bit & I would hear an occasional squeak as the...

    Cross Rotating Michelin MXM4 19"

Interesting how this thread developed. Thanks for the Michelin link on tire rotation. I initially posed the question, not because of tire noise, but I wanted to maximize the life of my tires & also maintain equal performance by even wear. From what's posted here, I'm probably going to go with...

    Cross Rotating Michelin MXM4 19"

So is the final verdict that as long as I don't mind the noise, it is safe to throw in cross rotations for our 19" MXM4's?

    Cross Rotating Michelin MXM4 19"

Been searching on the forums, but haven't really come across any definitive answer in my search. On inspection of my 19" MXM4's I don't see any arrows to indicate the tires are directional, or the words "outside only" to indicate the tires are asymmetrical. If that's the case, I don't see why...

Does the service center patch tires?

Great information, good to know. I thought as much. I'll probably end up taking down the tire myself and haul it over to American Tire Depot to get it patched. Luckily, it was a slow leak, so I did not need to emergently plug it.

Does the service center patch tires?

Got a nail in my tire the other day, was wondering if anyone knows whether the service center patches tires, and how much it costs?
