As the above post stated demand for sedans has been dropping for years and the relatively small profit margins they were generating GM simply followed where the profit margins led them

Not so, GM is downsizing and eliminating all but a few models to concentrate on the truck/suv market

Not stupid unless the lower ride height put the battery pack in greater danger of getting damaged by road debris. That would be a very expensive mod indeed

Small correction, the Volt died because the platform it was/is built on is being eliminated

Perhaps a PA function keyed to the cars microphone, so any sound (including nothing) can be rebroadcast including the drivers comments

So said the naysayers regarding anything Tesla related. Debate about their timelines all you wish but they have always delivered on their performance goals
