Email from Tesla describing Version 9.
I agree. They have severely limited our ability to choose what appears on the screen. I rarely use Map and now I'm stuck with it all the time. How is this better??- rickyarrow

I agree taking away the top half bottom half configure ability is a step back. please bring it back. I don't use Map and now I have no choice.- rickyarrow

Software Update 2018.39.x (Version 9)
Yes, version 9 makes the Map display to always be the default display and only allows one other app to be displayed. I don't use the map app very often and now can't use 2 other displays of my choosing as I could before. Why would that change be made??- rickyarrow
