any hope for reduction of outside noise penetrating the cabin?

I will have to try another X. It is just unbelievable it is that bad for all X owners. I've seen a lot of complaints from early model 3 owners but none virtually in the video reviews of X owners. I just looked at a video comparing laminated glass vs tempered, results were stunning. Perhaps...

any hope for reduction of outside noise penetrating the cabin?

Thanks for the information. window adjustment - I've seen a video on adjusting the window clearance by inserting a credit card in the front of window and the rear of window and making adjustment inside the door until the credit card was snug on both ends of the glass. Is that what you did...

any hope for reduction of outside noise penetrating the cabin?

I was all set to purchase until I test drove and found the noise at 60 - 65 mph on the interstate unacceptable for such an expensive Vehicle. My Test drives were both a model Y and later a model X. Maybe these test drive vehicles just needed adjustment of windows and molding. Also listening on...

FSD Automatic lane changes on crowded interstates

No gaps is an exaggeration on my part, it may be 15, 20, or 25 cars pass before I can get back over into the left lane. I suppose it would be some relief to just let FSD decide and handle when to get back in. Any experience with that?

Will model X get the OCTO Valve heat pump?

I've not seen any data or posts saying how much the OCTO valve heat pump saves on range in cold weather. If it does it sure would be nice if Model X and S will be updated to have it. Any speculation on that happening? Did model 3 get updated to have the heat pump?

FSD Automatic lane changes on crowded interstates

I-45 between Houston and Dallas is usually very crowded, 60 mph on right lane 80 to 85 Mph in left lane (no exaggeration). I prefer not to drive 85 mph (its illegal) If you get in right lane it will slow within a minute or so to 60MPH. Then you cant get into the left lane as they are bumper to...

Does the octo-valve improve range in cold weather?

Thank you all for the information, especially the video on how the OCTOvalve. been wondering that for a long time.

Does the octo-valve improve range in cold weather?

It is my understanding that model Y comes with the octo valve heat pump while the model X uses resistance heaters. The question is does the heat pump improve range in cold weather significantly versus the resistance heater of Model X. Model X long-range of 350miles may not make it to North...

range boost for model Y likely?

I see there is an over the air speed boost available for model Y. Is it likely to get a range boost too, or has that already happened?

Is the current CPU chip for full FSD made in China?

Is the current CPU chip for full FSD made in China?

Is the current CPU chip for full self-drive autonomous mode made in China? A few month's back it was stated that Nvidia's chip did not have the capacity to do full self drive capacity so Tesla turned to China to supply it. But just today I heard Sandy Munro in response to battery day market...

Are Lane Changes Initiated by the FSD software?

with the latest release of FSD auto pilot are the lane changes initiated by the software to maintain a set speed or does the driver have to do it with a turn signal?
