Has anyone verified receiving a vehicle with the new features?

Is there any verification of the rumors of RGB lighting and a front bumper cam on vehicles this month?

Actually they can't. I tried calling today and was told that 10.4 is going out as "fast as they can" but they can't push it out to cars that haven't been signaled to get it yet. They recognize that it's a safety issue but state that a reset will clear the problem.

Is there a way to force the OTA update?

So this issue is definitely not fixed. My MX has the new MCU and the latest OTA update 2018.10.2. However yesterday when I got into my car the Dash Screen behind the wheel was black and would not turn on. I drove home (without having any speed indicators, etc) and parked it and when I woke up...

On the release notes there was no mention of a fix for any issues but hopefully it was embedded in the code. The release notes were highlighting the ability to open your trunk and frunk with the app now.

I just got a notification that an OTA software update is now available for my new MX. Hopefully this resolves any potential problems and deliveries go out again soon!!

Yes, I took delivery yesterday. I confirmed the new MCU initially with my DS but I also verified independently with the http://teslamcu.xyz that a member was kind enough to create. Good luck to all!!

Picked up my X100D today. Can confirm that it has the new MCU. Production started on 2/28 and VIN is 901xx

I’m taking delivery of my new MX 100D on Friday. I emailed my DS just a few minutes about this, he confirmed that my MX has the new MCU. It started production on 2/28 with a 901xx VIN

My understanding is that the “in production” status doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s still being made. If a vehicle hasn’t been assigned to a transport yet it will still be listed as “in production”. You can always ping your DS to see what’s going on

For anyone who has taken delivery recently....does the MX come with a phone adapter??
