    Model 3 Windshield crack issue

Understood, and I now understand the exclusions for bumper to bumper warranty. Unfortunately Texas has some insurance differences than some other states, but I'll double check the poilcy. My main point in starting this post was to express the disappointment in the quality of the M3 glass when...

    Model 3 Windshield crack issue

Could be there's more stress on the windshield, I did not think of that. If that were true, sounds like an engineering issue. Anyway, I'm thinking the resin did make a difference in your windshield. You did a mich better job than I did about checking for and finding the very small area of...

    Model 3 Windshield crack issue

It was definitely a small pebble that caused the windshield to crack, as the windshield repair person pointed out the area of impact. Too many M3 cracked windshields reported to be due to pebble impact....

    Model 3 Windshield crack issue

So far, no issues with the climate control since windshield replacement. I wonder how many Model 3 windshields have to crack when any little pebble hits it, before Tesla considers it a real problem?

    Model 3 Windshield crack issue

Thanks. my insurance deductible is $1000, so my preminums here in Texas would be low.

    Model 3 Windshield crack issue

Love your reply :-) Seems like Tesla could offer windshield quality options up front at least. When you see lots of cracked windshields in a car that otherwise is really cool, and built and engineered better than other competitors in the EV arena for the money, it is very disappointing...

    Model 3 Windshield crack issue

You are correct, disappointed: would rather have (and pay for) windshield glass that is better than other car makers, since in my opinion the Tesla is better in almost all other areas for the money than more expensive luxury cars.

Thanks, the problem is my insurance deductible is $1000, to make my premiums lower. :-)

    Model 3 Windshield crack issue

The main point is with all the engenering and expense that goes into making Tesla's, the windshield should be higher quality on all Tesla's by default, or at least make it an option so the user could pay more up front for a better windshield. An update today: Went to a Tesla charging station...

    Model 3 Windshield crack issue

I'd like to start by saying we love our 2022 Model 3, which we picked up new just before the end of 2021. Unfortunately the other day as I was driving around 60 mph on the highway, I heard a tink sound on the windshield. Initially I did not see any small hole in the windshield or anything at...

Can’t sign in to Tesla app

For users who have had secondary phone access issues to your Tesla: So found out one very important thing in Tesla’s last update was disabling 2nd phone access to the Tesla, so the primary owner now has to grant access to any secondary Tesla users before the secondary user can access the Tesla...
