My experience upgrading from a 75 to a 100 kWh battery at EV's Republic

They did the work in about a day, so no, the labor is not that high. The added cost is margin, which needs to be reasonably high if they’re carrying $12k packs in inventory. If there was an efficient market for certified used packs then the costs of swapping would be substantially less.

Supercharger - San Bernardino, CA - West Little League Dr (LIVE 18 Apr 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

Nice find! Here’s the link to the building permit; it’s for 12 stalls at 3235 W Little League Drive.

My experience upgrading from a 75 to a 100 kWh battery at EV's Republic

My car is AP1, built 9/2016. Your battery is much worse off than mine was—it never took me much more than an hour to Supercharge.

    Beware EV's Republic

I went to EV's Republic to inquire about upgrading my Model X battery, and this thread notwithstanding, decided to go for it. My experience, which I wrote about in the Model X forum, was excellent.

My experience upgrading from a 75 to a 100 kWh battery at EV's Republic

Preamble In February I drove from Northern California to Borrego Springs, a tiny desert town with no DC charging stations, in my 2016 Model X 75D. With 204 miles of rated range in my six year old pack when full, the 550+ mile drive was not fun. The return trip was especially bad, because I...

    Supercharger - Pollock Pines, CA (LIVE 18 Jan 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

The issue isn’t that there are chargers out of view from my photo; I photographed the only chargers that I could see within the fenced area. If this will be a twelve stall installation then two stalls haven’t been installed yet.

    Supercharger - Pollock Pines, CA (LIVE 18 Jan 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

Chargers are in, but I saw only 10, not 12. Still need signage, pad for transformer, and the transformer.

Supercharger - San Simeon, CA (located defined, permit not found)

Before a building permit is issued Tesla will first need approval from the California Coastal Commission. No filing showing yet, but the place to search is California Coastal Commission.

    Supercharger - Soda Springs, CA (LIVE 8 Dec 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

They’ll be lucky to have six weeks before snow shuts them down for the winter.

Supercharger - Visalia, CA (Valley Fuel Travel Center, LIVE 15 Oct 2022, 19 v3 stalls)

Here’s a screenshot showing it’s not in mine. I then scrolled a little bit and it re-searched and showed the Visalia charger. Looks like a bug in the app.

Supercharger - Visalia, CA (Valley Fuel Travel Center, LIVE 15 Oct 2022, 19 v3 stalls)

This location has been open for seven months but still is not appearing on Tesla’s find us page or in my Tesla app. Does anyone know a way to report this to somebody who could fix the problem?

Supercharger - Cameron Park, CA (LIVE 12 May 2023, 12 stalls)

Brewery is open now. Official grand opening is Saturday. Nice looking place. Here’s their menu.

Supercharger - Cameron Park, CA (LIVE 12 May 2023, 12 stalls)

Parking lot is paved and brewery looking close to done. I bet they’re shooting to be open by Memorial Day.

Supercharger - San Juan Bautista, CA (location speculation)

Last week I spoke with someone in the city planning department, who said the chargers were going in at 400 The Alameda, which is an empty lot at the corner of The Alameda and State Highway 156, three miles southeast of US 101. They said the site will also have a gas station, but building permits...

Supercharger - Cameron Park, CA (LIVE 12 May 2023, 12 stalls)

I went by there on the 13th and it’s still not paved; I guess the paving is part of the brewery permit.
