Newer model 3s have higher rear seats for a more comfortable fit (I think 2019 models?). So would be good if the responses here also mention the model year.

Same here, and also a Tesla microfiber cloth. I asked about the USB cables and they are no longer included. I think the order page item you are referring to was the mobile connector.

Not a dealbreaker here either. I think from an aesthetic point of view, some may even argue it looks better, since the small gaps are so even.

My 2020 also has this problem. More data points:

Seems fine to me on the passenger side (I also have a 2020 M3). The dead pedal isn’t fully flush but from the other videos I have seen, this appears to be true in general. I wonder if the lack of a dead pedal in the newer models made the issue worse, but I am fine with it.

Can someone report on whether the frunk and trunk mats fit the 2020 model? I bought the full set before I saw the misalignment post and am worried those do not fit well either. But I am glad you all like the 2020 figment so far, so hopefully it is not a dealbreaker when I get them.
