I vote yes. If the car manufacturers are funding the no argument there’s a reason for that. $$$$$ The only reason Tesla sells us parts in MA is because of right to repair. Hopefully this will force Tesla to not be so draconian with modifying our vehicles.

Has anyone flashed their hannshow controller module? There's a .bin upgrade that you put on a formatted sd card. They say you need a 16GB or smaller one, and the only one I have is 32GB. WIll this work?

I have to say, the Hanshow support is a bit maddening. The fact that they have ZERO solution for folks with cars in the 2018 model year and the whole CAN Bus connectivity is concerning. For this reason I would not recommend Hansshow. Their response time via whatsapp is inconsistent at best...
