FS: Set of Four Like New Take-Off Model 3 18" OEM Tires - Under 150 Miles - Asking $600 - Charlotte NC Area

These are the Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires. They came off of our brand new '23 Tesla Model 3 we just picked up. No issues with the tires, just switched to run flats. Not willing to ship or split up. Asking $600 for the set of four. They are currently in bags from the tire shop, but I included...

Window Tint Recommendations Model 3 - Charlotte Area

I usually use Tint Shop Plus in Kannapolis for my window tinting, but they can't do the rear window. Any recent recommendations for a good shop? Preferably one that can do the Model 3 rear window in one piece? Thanks!

Locking in a price in anticipation of the Federal Tax Credit

Right, there is no free lunch. Is the low vehicle tax in SC the reason the roads are so bad? Just kidding!

Locking in a price in anticipation of the Federal Tax Credit

Every car in NC has a 3% Highway Use Tax with no cap and at least where I live another ~1% annually in property tax. And we have yearly inspections. There is an EV fee on top of that. How does that compare to your state? I know in NJ for example, there is no sales tax on EVs. I would rather pay...

Locking in a price in anticipation of the Federal Tax Credit

Not only that, but EVs cost more to register in NC.

Has anyone driven both an SR+ and new RWD Model 3?

I think the '22 battery is larger and heavier.

Has anyone driven both an SR+ and new RWD Model 3?

This is pretty much what I expected. Thanks for your input! After speaking with my wife again, it seems likely we are going with the RWD model. As much as I want to go with the LR AWD (with AB), the performance difference is not worth the extra $8k+ out of the door to her. Especially since she...

Has anyone driven both an SR+ and new RWD Model 3?

I agree it is not the best metric. My Hellcat was awful from 0-60 on street tires because it couldn't get any traction. It was a beast once it was moving at a decent clip however, assuming you could manage the still present wheel spin. Getting back to the Tesla, an increase in 0-60 times...

Has anyone driven both an SR+ and new RWD Model 3?

I meant last model year, as in 2021 vs the 2022s coming out now. So new a couple of months ago. It sounds like I am just going to have to drive them.

Has anyone driven both an SR+ and new RWD Model 3?

No, there was a brief period last year for SR+ with an LFP battery and that is what I have driven. I believe the battery was smaller than the current LFP battery so it had less range and the same acceleration as the NCA battery, See below. So my question was phrased correctly, but if it needs to...
