I just spoke with a Tesla technician who’s working on the chargers. I guess there were some technical issues, which is why it’s not officially open just yet even though they do work. He was re-attaching some lids that had blown off. I told him that we want this to be open for the eclipse traffic.

I'm bringing a 6kW 240V generator and planning to avoid using it. I'll be down by the border, away from superchargers. There are a couple of level two chargers, but I fear they may be in high demand during this period.

This will probably be needed desperately on the days surrounding April 8, because of the total solar eclipse. I went to the one in 2017 in Wyoming, and the traffic was mind-bogglingly insane.

I have 1200 miles on my new model Y HW4. I've had zero phantom braking. I have FSD, but for now it's crippled down to EAP.

I upgraded to Model Y a few days ago. It has HW4 and 2023.20.100.1. It has the beta button grayed out, with a note that I have to wait for a future release. But at least I have Enhanced AP. It's just like what I had 3 years ago. Not at all like the very smooth latest FSD Beta.

I tried a CD player with Bluetooth, and it would play 1 second and then disconnect - reconnect. I know everybody thinks CDs are stupid, but sometimes I'm excited and want to listen in the car before I rip it and fiddle with files. Video of trying to make it work.
