Went to the service center today for a long standing rattle noise issue. I was told Tesla will charge $175 for the diagnosis to start with. Even after a road test, they deny it is something caused by Tesla bad assembly, they still will charge $175. This is the service center in Santa Clara CA...

Ordered last Thursday and AP was activated last evening. No need to be on Wifi and the update can happen during charging. I was at work without connecting to wifi and the car was plugged in all day and it still gets the update.

If you just carry the fob without the paired phone, how do you start the car? Will the car recognize the fob and let you shift gear to Drive?

This is by far the worst issue I have seen over all the delivery issues reported on this forum... For me, it is a 100% reject. They are just trying to push the Q3 numbers by asking you to take the car and the compensation.
