I would have zero confidence in an electric car if it wasn't a Tesla. I go on rock climbing trips to the Peak District / Derbyshire / Dorset, and more often than not it is a day trip from London during the summer months (300 miles-ish return). If there aren't any superchargers in the motorway...

Will try this next (I'm with Direct Line). Probably worth it if I'm going on a week-long holiday somewhere, but not for sharing the load on an ad hoc trip.

Yep, that's the response a few of the companies gave, otherwise it was just "No, can't offer you a quote right now.".

Has anyone tried lending their mate their Tesla and used one of the hourly car insurance providers, e.g. Cuvva, or Veygo (from Admiral)? Basically my friend tried a bunch of these on my TM3 LR over the weekend and all of them refused to quote / rejected. Not sure if previous threads have...

I think we do occasionally wave... not that easy to clock though if not going slowly and trying to dodge other people!

Got my first wave today. A gorgeous blue Model S waved at me in N4 London. Waved back slightly late as I was taken aback by how good it looked in the sun.
