Supercharger - Asheville, NC (Whole Foods)

Just an update to say this new charger has been live for over a week. Haven’t charged there yet though, will post a picture next time I get there. Screenshot from app shows the charger online (and also the original Asheville supercharger has been expanded from 8 to 12 at the same time, also live...

Update 5/6: still doing some electrical work.

That was fast. Also, I haven’t seen one of these disability-friendly spots before.

Does the rim (not size) make any difference in the ride quality?

I will say that when I replaced my Super Sports with new Super Sports, I also noticed a night-and-day difference. I am not sure when during the wear cycle of the old tires they started getting louder; it happens so gradually. Looking back, I’ve always thought the Super Sports were pretty loud...

They’ve broken ground as of 4/14. Moving quickly.

Can't decide between P3D or Model S, halp!

I own an RX and have driven an EX numerous times and would say you're right about the smoother Lexus suspension, right up until the 2019 Raven suspension makeover for Model S. I've only driven one once, but I was very impressed at how smooth it was and it compared favorably to the Lexus...

To MCU2 or not to MCU2?

Yes, but they don’t use refurbished MCU1s for the eMMC upgrade - they just take out your MCU1, replace the daughterboard, and put the MCU back in

    Model S Nature Pictures

Man that Signature Red still looks awesome

    Arachnid lug nuts?

Get a set of Gorilla lug nuts instead of the OEM Tesla ones anyway. The Tesla ones suck, and the “caps” have a tendency to swell and warp, and get deformed if you use them too much. I was unable to get one of mine off, and had to bring it to my tire shop and even they could barely get the warped...

    P85D With Square Wheels

I have noticed that in slaloms and technical driving in autocross, having the staggered wheels leads to more understeer compared at least to the 19 square setup (though those tires have way less grip than the PSS that my Arachnids wear). I bet a staggered setup yields the best drag strip times...

To MCU2 or not to MCU2?

You have a true 70D. The 75 kWh battery didn’t debut until after the nosecone.

    P85D With Square Wheels

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I’m trying to take my P85D+ to a square setup. Mine came from the factory with (obviously square) 19” cyclones (further proving that P85D+ did come with 19s, as stated earlier in the thread). I use the 19s for winter and bought a set of staggered 21”...

To MCU2 or not to MCU2?

I want to say I haven't seen confirmation that the MCU2 increased price for AP2+ was tied directly to HW3 upgrade because the price is also $2000 for AP2+ cars without FSD. My initial thought was just that the upgrade is worth more to post-AP1 cars because it does more things, so as an AP1...

Thinking of getting a Taycan Cross Turismo...

    That color is awesome
