    Has the M3P ruined me?

Totally agree. I recently got rid of my 981 Cayman when the used car values were sky-high to start saving up for a Cayman EV. Combining the power of an EV drivetrain with the Cayman chassis and driving dynamics will be fantastic. Am hoping they really get the weight down to provide the...

"eCall emergency call system requires service" Alert

I probably should have sent a follow up. In my case, as the previous post I responded to said: "The technician called me to verify the fix and told me that the car had a feature in the software that was set to "True" even though that feature isn't available in the US." The car was in service...

    Recommended Body Shop in NH/MA

I can highly recommend Today's Collision. They have multiple locations, but I used the one in Malden to have some work done on a BMW i3. I know the local BMW dealer swears by them and believe their Malden facility is Tesla approved. https://todayscollision.com/locations/malden/

Sandy Monro Plaid Road Trip - Boston visit Sunday 12/12/21

Another shot of the guest of honor. Sandy was a great guy, super interesting, and more than happy to answer any questions we had. Thanks very much to the organizers.

Northeast shop recommendations for paint protection

Totally agree with JWardell. PPF will help protect against rock chips; ceramic coating makes it much easier to wash and keep clean. I can highly recommend Q Car Care in Burlington. They specialize in Tesla; great work and great to work with. One of the people at the Peabody SC actually...

Discussion: Floor Mats in Model 3

Yes, same exact experience. In addition to the front passenger mat fit issue, I also didn't like the fact that the dead pedal wasn't completely covered. I contacted the Tesla Store about this and they never responded. Returned the mats and picked up the Tesla Shields mats. Very happy with...

    Model 3 or 2?

A co-worker of mine bought a 2020 Bolt. So far he's found it to be good, reliable transportation. Although I've yet to ride in one, I checked out the 2017 model when they came out and didn't like the seats at all, but found them much improved in the 2020 model. Also, I believe the battery...

Discussion: Floor Mats in Model 3

I seem to remember reading one of the other popular mat vendors sent out something with their 2021 Model 3 Tesla mats saying the carpeting on the passenger side, against the center tunnel, needs to be pushed in a bit to get their mats to fit right. Not sure if this is the case or not, but this...

Discussion: Floor Mats in Model 3

Received my 2021 Model 3 Tesla Shields mats yesterday. Although it took a while to receive them since I ordered around the time they first announced them, they were good at keeping me in the loop as to the status. Super high quality and fit like a glove. Highly recommended.

I finally found roof shades that for M3 2021!

FWIW, I ordered the Tesla front sunshade a couple weeks ago when it happened to be in-stock in the Tesla store. I was hoping it was out-of-stock because they were resizing it for the 2021 model (as others have posted, the front sunshade opening is smaller on the 2021 than earlier Model 3s)...

    2021.4.18.10 release notes

Does the smart summon functionality require FSD? I think that's true in earlier releases...

They look great! Look forward to receiving them.

Discussion: Floor Mats in Model 3

I understand your point. Initially I picked up a set of the Tesla all-weather floor liners, but didn't like the fit on the front passenger mat and the fact that it didn't cover the whole dead-pedal area. One set I liked was the new Tesmanian mats.

Discussion: Floor Mats in Model 3

If you go to the non-preorder page on their website, there is a small note that says "In Stock". The "In Stock" note may have also been on the page when I ordered the mats back in March. OTOH, as someone has been waiting for the mats since March, I understand the position TeslaShield is in and...

    Best mud flaps?

Yes, have them on a 2021 Model 3.
