Just a follow-up re: Johnny and Calibred Customs. I thought he did a slick install and very fast. I did think it was kind of icky that he insisted I PayPal him friends and family. He really wanted cash or Venmo. Considering it is a business and he charges premium pricing, it gave me a bad feeling.
I finally got all my components: DR900S-2CH, B-112 battery, wifi hotspot. Johnny (Calibred Customs) came out and did a beautiful, clean install and showed me how to work the unit and the app. I'm very happy with his work.
@P85_DA, did you hardwire yours or use the Blackvue B-112? Did you use a mobile hotspot? I'm trying to figure out best practices to avoid jeopardizing the Tesla warranty.
@DeusExMachinist, what happened? Did you get yours installed by Calibred? I'm in the process of setting a group install rate with Concours. Would be interested to know how you liked the Calibred install and what your final cost was.

Tell me if this is a dumb idea. I would just put a patch of PPF on top, overlapping the damage with a margin, just to protect from further damage. I know it would look like crap, but it would be kind of functional. Whaddya think?
I used Vvivid, instead of 3m 1080, because it is much more cost effective. It was my first time, so I figured that I was better to experiment with the cheaper stuff. Here is the link to all of the Vvivid wood grains:
Wood Grain
The thing you need to know is that the grain is long-ways on the...
DIY wood delete and center console on Model 3. My first time doing it. I bought it on a roll, instead of the precut templates because I couldn't find black ash look in a precut. It's not perfect but definitely happy with my first try! (And I have plenty of material left to re-do it when I feel...
