I regret my Model Y purchase because of seat comfort and seating position problems

I can’t find an answer on this. I personally had to ditch my model 3 (2020) due to the seats being really bad (exactly as described by the OP). Hurt my back and legs. I am 6’1” but longer legs, less torso. (And also, the car was too low for my bad back) I sat in my friends 2023 model y...

    NEMA 14-50 8 gauge wire

So I did that with a buddies RV. I have no idea why I had a 6-50 to 14-50 adapter laying around, but in my ignorance decided to just use it. The RVs inverter literally burst into flames. I still have no idea why the inverter blew, but it happened!

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

verified fitment on fronts is 9.5J ET35. A member verified that 9.5 et40 hits struts in front and does not fit. If you go to 10" from 9.5, you lose another .25 inches on the inside, and this is too much (based on et40 being only .2in further towards strut than et35) someone ran 10.5J ET40 in...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Saw this in the parking lot. Serious deep dish!

Does anyone have Michelin MXM4 on their 19" wheels?

They are on closeout at tirerack.com right now. I was able to get Americas Tire to Price match, so right now they are a super bargain (since the p7+ II's came out)

Pirelli P7+. If all you are looking for is long life (UTQG700) and quiet ride, then this is the tire for you. I did exhaustive research too, and on top of maintaining range not sure why you are still looking.

Does anyone have Michelin MXM4 on their 19" wheels?

Update: I was going to fit new 19's with Michelin MXM4's to keep from possibly losing range. For lack of info on my original question, I pulled the trigger and bought 19" wheels with Pirell's p7+'s (and crossed my fingers.) After 1000 miles on the OEM michelins and 500 miles on the Pirellis, Im...

Aftermarker Sound Upgrade of 3 Front 4" speakers

definitely worth it since a downfiring sub enclosure fits right in the storage cubby. But I am a total bass head.

Just got car - noticing more body roll on twisty roads than usual

I came to this thread looking for perspective on the handling. It’s interesting that people bring up professional drivers... autocross... mooses and track numbers and such…But I was definitely feeling that there are some issues in the way the car (feels like it) handles. No I don’t think I have...

19x9 vs 19x9.5 daily driving efficiency loss.

Nice. Looks real good. I’m really interested in a 19x9” and the shop is offering a deal on 235’s, so I’m all messed up right now. Should I pass up the deal? I also don’t really want the larger diameter tire... I think?

19x9 vs 19x9.5 daily driving efficiency loss.

did you decide on anything? Wondering if you have any data to share. I would have thought that going up half an inch wouldn't affect range that much. I'm pretty sure tire sizes are what matters most.

Does anyone have Michelin MXM4 on their 19" wheels?

Sweet. Definitely heard great things on the forum.... Apparently users are happy with them. But no one has mentioned efficiency.

Does anyone have Michelin MXM4 on their 19" wheels?

The OEM Continental Procontacts are probably less efficient based on the lack of LRR and softer compound (low utqg). @rxlawdude and many others for some reason defaulted to Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ when replacing the MXM4’s (top tire rack recommendation and Costco specials were mentioned)...

Does anyone have Michelin MXM4 on their 19" wheels?

since I’m in the “tires matter” club, summer tires will always wreck efficiency. In fact, the Michelin Pilot Sports 4s are even listed as having an eco-focus which is hilarious (esp considering a UTQG of 300). Others have gone with non LRR All Season tires (Continental DWS06 @Beaver from the...
