Enhanced Visualization Controls [april fools post]
I just received update 2021.4.19(AF) which comes with enhanced visualization controls. To activate the features described below use Controls > Driving > Visualization Controls(Beta). When stopped, touch the front part of the car image to select Drive, touch the rear part to select Reverse...- rsharman

Germany Rules on Using Tesla Screen Wiper Controls
I think the idea of double tapping or triple tapping the stalk is a good idea. Voice commands don't work if you lose connectivity, right? So that's not always an alternative. -

That sounds like it would be really annoying if the passenger gets in first; surely it would set it (incorrectly) to the passenger's settings.- rsharman

Caution: Driving while firmware is updating
Does anyone know what the mechanics of an update are? I couldn't find anything on it. I would assume that a software update consists of 3 to 5 phases: 1. Downloading the firmware into flash. 2. Reading it back to make sure it was written correctly. 3. Rebooting the system. Based on some... -

Is it a Froot?
I was watching a video of a Model-3 in the UK, and it got me wondering. In North America, that place where the engine would be in most cars(!) we call a Front Trunk, but often a "Frunk". So, in the UK call the front boot a "froot"? Or what? Richard
