My Tesla goes for a run every day for six miles while I sit in my office all day
A few things can help with phantom drain. Turn off sentry mode, turn off passive entry, and enable range mode. In summer, also turning off cabin overheat protect mode. -

Key Fob Issues
I learned this the hard way. Took my model S up a mountain canyon to a nice lake using my phone as the key to start it from my house. Settings>passive entry. This was turned OFF by Tesla in a recent software update and gave me the exact same symptoms until I found the setting and turned passive entry back on. They did this as a response to some hacker group proving that they could walk by your keys and sniff the code with a...- Rtowne
