New door handle does not present, but opens the door directly

Hi, I repaired door handles myself and know about all the common problems with door handles. But today I have a door handle issue I never saw up to now: After a small accident with my 2013 S85 the drivers side door had to be replaced in an approved body shop. With the new door the the door...

Clacking noises in the footwell area

Thanks rooter, May I ask, what ist the "Foot Chopper" is?? Not even my translator offers a sensible solution. :-) Remember: it sounds pretty much like a loose tube knocking against the chassis. Thanks

Clacking noises in the footwell area

Thanks. Could have been, in deed. But those bolts had been replaced long time ago.

Clacking noises in the footwell area

Hello everyone, My 2013 MS with 250'000km (160kmiles) is making clacking noises in the footwell area on the driver's side when I drive over cobblestones (really bad) or any other bumps or humps. It sounds similar to when you turn off the faucet in a house very fast and the piping vibrates as a...

    Preventive eMMC replacement on MCU1

My MCU still does not boot. We suspect that p1 and/or p2 have problems. Although we sucessfully used "unsquashfs". Does anybody dispose of a 2020.8.1.1 p1 and p2 image which he could provide to me? Can p1 and p2 be identical (copies)? Or does anybody have an idea on how to "fsck" p1 and p2?

    Preventive eMMC replacement on MCU1

Does anybody know how the MCU1 boot process works? I understood from other posts, that the first part of the boot does not involve the emmc chip. Is that correct? In other words, the emmc does not require any boot sector and related boot files?

    Preventive eMMC replacement on MCU1

I am pretty sure that I read somewhere in this thread, that the Tegra board is a standard board from NVIDIA. If that is the case some of us should have some spare boards I assume. Can somebody shed some light on this? What board is really in the MCU and can it be ordered separately? Thanks

    Preventive eMMC replacement on MCU1

Thanks jrhansen. When you say "take each partion and run fsck on partion 3 and 4", what do you mean exactly? Did you extract (dd) each partition seperately or did you dd the entire image, mounted the image and then run fsck on P3 and P4? Best regards Heinz

    Preventive eMMC replacement on MCU1

Hi, I seem to have a similar problem: Got the old chip -de-soldered by a professional and we could read out the image using dd-rescue without any problems. We could mount the partitions and found all files were they should be. After that, we applied the image to a new Swissbit chip and soldered...
