I appreciate your polite inquiry to my harsh reply. Sure I could have chosen my words more carefully but Im dead set against leaving animals/ childeren/ elderly in a car.. for obvious reasons. They can get hurt. They can die. There are so many places dogs can get stuck, caught, trapped...

All good points but I will never understand people who leave their dog in a car- even for one minute. My dog is a dog, no certificates, no blue ribbons and I would NEVER leave her alone in a car. NEVER EVER.. EVERRRR

I think we should all put pressure on our Electric companies to follow suit and enact rebate programs. They ultimately benefit anyway, as does future generations.

So start your twitter post by saying: "Elon: get your HEAD out of space and your HEART into PARTS!" - That might grab someone's attention!!

@pete_shaw So ... I was trying to see if there are any rebates in your area-- I didn't see any but not sure of your particular energy company,.... BUT.. I did find this! Event Recap: Electric Vehicle Blessing - Jersey Renews How sweet! A local church had a "Blessing of Electric Cars" day!!

We had to go digging with our Energy Co. they didn't really advertise it! We saw it by accident . It was hidden in their website titled "PEV" lol (Plug-in Electric Vehicle program)

That's exactly what we paid. Do check your Energy Co for rebates. It was nice that we got all our money back- so essentially the install was free!- only had to pay the $50 permit. Keep us posted and ENJOY your car!!

Im ALL for new technology and updates but it's starting to concern me that Tesla is paying ppl to sit around and jack up dog mode when we have many many many ppl waiting for PARTS.. I know it's diff departments but geeeeeez, can't they at least make it LOOK like they are on a path to helping...
