Nine days after receiving my VIN, I received a call from my ISA today who wanted to go ahead and get my delivery on the calendar and locked. Delivery scheduled for 3/29 @ 10am, first delivery of the day. She offered a day earlier but my work schedule was too crazy to miss. Will make it 5 weeks...

It doesn’t need to be the Model 3 on there. They just need to see that you have insurance.

Update: Call received today from Tesla in Las Vegas. Was told the car is on the way to the service center with delivery anticipated before EOM but could be sooner. Paperwork received, signed and returned to both Tesla and lender. Account info submitted to Tesla for direct debit of down payment...

I imagine I should hear from them tomorrow or some time early this week. This is happening much faster than I anticipated.
