The scene outside Martin Place store. At the very least over 100 people waiting in the queue to get a walk-through. The queue extends indoors where a brief discussion around the Model 3 occurs with all waiting. Gonna give it a skip for the next couple of days and will probably breeze through...

Correct. Left hand for display at the moment. So no test drives just yet unfortunately by the looks of it.

On my way to the office I popped by Tesla Store in Martin Place @7.35am and there she is!!! There was a film crew all setup with a presenter in front, probably recording promotional videos. Store was closed but already had a sign indicating a closed event to be in progress for all customers...

Thanks for the replies fellas. I suppose I am thinking more along the lines of this as a method of building up your deposit and the benefit is Tesla getting cash right away. I suppose the scenario of say in 18 months time or whatever depending on my "prepayment" plan having paid a 20 percent...

Would it be a great idea if Tesla allowed you to begin prepaying your Model 3 costs now? May help some afford the upgrades/options/extras, reduce loan costs and could possibly be a source of cash that Tesla is looking for?
