    Damaged Charge Port

My charge port has stopped glowing (red/blue/green/orange) and the car keeps complaining that the charge port door is open. Car received about 2 months ago and has ~1350 miles on it. Goes in for service next week. Sent an email to Tesla and they jumped on it pretty quick. Is this what you mean...

Made the car alarm go off

Been there, done that. Leave the key fob with the car occupant if you are leaving. Otherwise its going to lock and trigger the alarm if a door is opened from inside and you're not around.

Accidentally bumped the stalk and put it in neutral-no power to pedal

This has happened to me too. Arggh, the joys of switching between cars. #FirstWorldProblems

    14-50 Installer in Portland/Vancouver?

I just got a NEMA 14-50 installed yesterday in Seattle, WA. The electrician had to move one breaker to another open spot but nothing else. Also my install was on the wall behind the panel, so the wire run (6 guage) was minimal. My cost was $435 + $150 inspection = $585. Hope that gives you a...

    PSE Electric Vehicle Charger Rebate

I have a "temporary registration" sticker too. Can't decide what to pick up though. I just got a NEMA 14-50 installed yesterday. Had I known about this I may have considered the HPWC. But then again, I only have a single charger. Is there any benefit from charging using the HPWC over the NEMA plug?

How would YOU configure a Model S for the budget conscience?

I would so S85, Tech, Pano, Leather as the absolute minimum. 85 - Comes with supercharging and you'll like having the extended range when you feel like driving this car everywhere. Tech - No brainer. This is a tech heavy car. Leather - Have you ever tried cleaning vomit from textile seats...

    XPEL Paint Protection Film

That's a great price KoolJack. Would you recommend them? My Tesla delivery specialist was the one who recommended Accutint in Seattle. In fact they are very close to the Seattle service center where I picked up the car. I heard back from both NWAS and Metropolitan Detail and here are their...

Who is past 50K Miles and NOT buying the extended warranty? Did the gamble pay off?

It's not available in Washington. I sure wish it was.

Spent Christmas Eve giving test drives

I certainly think so. One guy said he is going to go buy Tesla stock. Another said that he will wait for Tesla to make an EV work truck to replace his current vehicle after his wife told him next vehicle needed to be a Tesla. They all seemed to agree that this is the way of the future. I showed...

    XPEL Paint Protection Film

It does include the front bumper from what I can tell.

    XPEL Paint Protection Film

Oops, sorry I should have specified that this is for full front coverage. Which includes, full hood, fenders, mirrors, headlights, fog lamps and door edges. The full wrap is overkill in my opinion.

    XPEL Paint Protection Film

Hey All, I picked up by Pearl White S85 on Saturday and wanted to get PPF on it before I become the victim of a rock chip. I am planning to use one of the four providers below. Any recommendation on pricing and who to go with/stay away from? 1. AccuTint of Seattle in Sodo. Quote: $1400 + 10%...
