    Model X Mule Sightings

I doubt it's a Model 3. I pray it's not a Model 3. Too hatchbacky and ugly. That's gotta be a guinea pig Model X. Tesla hasn't even released a concept I doubt they've even made a prototype, let alone a prototype that looks as production-ready as that image OP provided.

    Autoevolution Renders the Model 3...Poorly.

Hey! We're totes on the same page! The only thing is that it might be too late for Tesla to take the friendly "Please don't do that" approach because of how much those foul concepts have gone around. If they do take the "please don't do that" approach, the sites that sourced the...

    Autoevolution Renders the Model 3...Poorly.

Tesla should strongly consider sending a Cease & Desist or request some sort of takedown for that rendering. This image produced by this studio portrays the official Tesla mark far too much (it's not blatantly obvious that it's a concept made by another studio, and other sources are incorrectly...

    Model 3 Timeline (speculation)

This couldn't be anymore true. I'm praying that the Model 3 doesn't even remotely resemble the i3 or the Nissan Leaf for that matter (some of the ugliest cars in existence..) My guess is the Model 3 really will be similar to just a scaled down Model S. (Or perhaps it'll look like that sweet...

Model 3 needs to be highly customizable

Well, they did buy Riviera Tool & Die, a step in changing the production process for sure =D

    Model 3 financials: Ownership

There's quite a few things you need to consider: MPG Of your current car Sell price of your car in 2017 Cost of electricity in your area Supercharger availability Current Maintenance costs (you can practically say 'goodbye' to maintenance, especially if you're driving an ICE. Include SMOG, etc...

Model 3 needs to be highly customizable

How about the weight of the vehicle? Musk claimed it'll be 20% smaller than the S, but steel is supposedly far more dense than aluminum. I'm hoping the difference in material doesn't bite the cost-savings in the rear because of the weight! $40k for a Model 3 60kwh with AWD would be pretty sweet! :)

How is Tesla going to make the Model 3 for $35,000?

I imagine that the reduction in size and gigafactory production will help keep battery costs low. Wouldn't need as large of a battery to power a Model 3 (especially if they drop its power) Perhaps another reason they pulled the 60kwh Model S was to hold onto the batteries to use in Model 3? If...

Model 3 needs to be highly customizable

I like this perspective! Thanks for the discussion! I suppose my main hope from here is at least an AWD option, or essentially a cheaper version of the S p85d. I'm curious how Tesla will manage to pack that many features into a $35,000 vehicle.. I totally understand production...

Model 3 needs to be highly customizable

To be a solid 'mass market' vehicle, I'm thinking the Model 3 needs to be highly customizable. I'm not sure which features are legally mandated, but I believe Tesla could allow some cost-saving options to help the Model 3 appeal to more buyers. For example, I'd order a Model 3 with cloth...

Ordered a P85D, now thinking about losing my deposit and getting a CPO instead.

People who complain are showing their true motivator.. (Money!) ;) Besides, for people like that, it's only a matter of time until something sets them off, whether it be in your control or not.

Hi OP, Reading this thread made me register for an account, haha. Seriously, I hope you went for the P85D that you wanted! Speaking from the perspective of an 'employee', I would be ecstatic if my boss bought a Tesla P85D. He deserves it for his hard work. If you treat your employees as well...
