As ZestyChicken noted, on the website the red dot ( when the slide is moved to summer) no longer shows a SC station between Dallas and Austin. But I also read a news paper article that the station in Waco is supposed to open in two weeks (maybe the city cancelled the permit?) . Any ideas on what...

Thanks. That is exactly what I did. The one I saw was in the service bay too and got a pretty good idea of how it looks.

DFW to Austin is ~200 miles. With a 85KWH Model s even at the "standard" speeds of 70-75 Miles per hour with AC on, one should be able to do it with out a charge right ? Of course, you will need to re-charge in Austin before heading back. Is my expectations not realistic ?

Yesterday I travelled from dallas to Austin and stopped at the Starbucks in Waco. Right behind it noticed that the land is being cleared. That would be an awesome location for the supercharger station -walking distance to many restaurants and Starbucks :)
