    More windshield wiper nuttiness

Of course not, but we all know that road debris, seeds, and such can scratch windshields if scraped across a dry windshield unnecessarily. Good to know that there is a way to turn the wipers off (at least until the next random time the software decides to turn them back on).

    More windshield wiper nuttiness

Since my Model 3 upgraded to 2019.40.50 (now running 2019.40.50.7) my windshield wipers are randomly running on dry sunny days. They didn't used to do that (say a month ago). It seems to be somewhat related to the front cameras getting glare from low-angle sun but not entirely. Worse this...

Left door pillar camera blocked or blinded

I had this yesterday for the first time, too. I suspect the fact that we are just days from the winter solstice is part of the reason. The sun is lower in the southern sky than any other time of year, and thus will be more blinding than when it's higher in the sky.

Premium Connectivity cost $9.99/month for many Model 3 versions

The poll is missing the "I'd pay if it worked more often" option, which is the one if select.

Premium Connectivity cost $9.99/month for many Model 3 versions

Just got this too. They went out of their way to imply that music streaming might not work with a customer provided Hotspot. They don't say it won't work, but carefully avoided saying that it might work. Since my "premium connectivity" seems to be provided by some third tier provider (dead...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

They break the little one to drop the rear seat and look in the trunk, and then if they see something that they want in the trunk they break the big one to get it. I didn't have a USB stick in the car so there's no video, but sentry mode didn't report any alerts when I returned to the car, so...

    Spotify w/ V10 update

Yes, just came here to report this. About 5 percent of the songs in any play list are greyed out and won't play. Trying gets a "loading error". Also I was listening to a long "song" (the original War of the Worlds radio show from the 30s). When I got to work I was halfway through. That evening...

    Android app won't connect

The last time my Android app connected to my car was over 2 weeks ago. Since then I've rebooted the phone and the car with no luck. Weirdly I can still open the front trunk with the app but nothing else works. Has anyone else seen this? Pixel 3 running Android 10. Is it related to the new OS...

Does anybody notice phantom braking while on TACC with 8.3 or 8.5?

On 8.3 .I can't drive in the carpool lane at commute times without turning TACC off completely. Otherwise phantom braking is uncomfortable and unsafe. Extremely disappointing.

    They're everywhere!

A couple of days ago I counted the Teslas on my 1.2 hour long commute to work from San Jose to Belmont CA. I saw 124.

Premium Connectivity cost $9.99/month for many Model 3 versions

If they ever did start making folks pay for "premium " connectivity, folks might actually expect it to work reliably. Unlike the current service .

So tell me about a model 3 without EAP. What will it still do.

I can't imagine buying a car without TACC Basically every new car from every manufacturer is starting to come with TACC. Getting a car without it seems as crazy as buying one without antilock brakes. Why be cheap with safety? Unfortunately the only way to get TACC in a Tesla is to get EAP...

(When) Will EAP or FSD avoid potholes?

When will it know what a stop sign is?? There are much more basic things that it's ignorant about besides road hazards
