I had to get mine recalibrated after a firmware update as it just didn't go up at all. It was "stuck" down. Calibration took the SC 10 minutes to do.

I wonder if you could just buy a channel from Tesla Service. Like a new one and just stick it on beside the existing one and do the wiring through this? If you put it on the driverside it shouldn't look that bad actually. What do you guys think?

The one on the trunk lid is seriously stuck - but I actually managed to get it out! It pretty much destroyed the LED, but since I replaced it with the new one it didn't really matter. The trick is to cover the area around with some cloth or thick paper (to make sure you don't scratch the lid...
